A good moisturiser (UK)?


I'm looking for a good moisturiser since Boots discontinued a favourite of mine (a 'Boots Expert' brand anti blemish with spf 15).

I have very fair, sightly oily/spotty and I need a moisturiser that is light and non-oily, and also contains an spf of 15 or more. Looking around I've only been able to find quite intensive moisturisers with spfs!

Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks!

Home Remedies for Skin Blemishing

A skin blemish is a common skin problem which people do not have much knowledge of. From a teenager to a middle-aged person, skin blemishes can occur due to different internal and external factors these people are experiencing.

 

 

what is a skin blemish? A skin blemish is also often known as hyperpigmentation. This is due to the skin discoloration or dark spots that manifest after a pimple breakout. This can also caused by white heads and black heads. In a general sense, these are marks left by these mentioned skin problems. But sometimes skin blemishes are brought by other factors such as aging, stress, too much make up, UV rays, and pollution.

 

 

Simple home remedies that you should try : some home remedies that will help you achieve a more even skin tone, here are some of nature's secrets to beautiful skin.

 

 

Freshly squeezed lemon juice. Indeed, it is one of nature's gifts to beauty. To help get rid of melasma and other darkening of the skin, squeeze a fresh lemon and dab the lemon juice to the affected part.

 

 

Cucumber juice is also a good way to lighten dark pigments and melasma. You can grate the cucumber and squeeze its juice or you can apply the grated cucumber directly into your face.

 

 

Take some sandalwood power and mix it with water to create a paste. Apply this paste to the areas where you have blemishes. Sandalwood creates a soothing effect on pimples and blemishes which are painful. Sandalwood is good for getting a clean clear acne free skin.

 

 

Eat ginger and garlic to get rid of blemishes and acne. Ginger and garlic have excellent anti bacterial properties and are considered to be natural antibiotics.

 

 

Have enough Vitamin C in your diet. A healthy diet rich in Vitamin C helps a lot in developing a fair and smooth skin. Make sure you take your recommended dose of Vitamin C to get rid of melasma and other dark spots in your skin.

 

 

Avoid too much sun exposure. Protect your skin with sunscreen when you go outdoors. You may want to avoid the sun especially during midday when the heat is intense. Wear sunglasses also to protect the skin around your eyes.

 

 

Take some almond power and mix it with pure rose water to create a paste. Apply this paste to the affected area and leave it for 45 minutes before you wash it off with water. Almond has vitamin E, which is very good for your skin. If you follow a proper treatment routine you will be able to get rid of blemishes within a few weeks.

 

 

Take some orange peal and grind it to get a fine paste. Apply this paste to your pimples and zits. If you use this treatment regularly your blemishes will disappear.
