Skincare switch? And are toners necessary?
I find that the Clinique 3 step acne kit has worked really well for me, however the cleanser and toner (I think) don't work as well as the lotion (I feel they just dry out my skin). My mother thinks I should stick with it, but I remember using the Aveeno Brightening Scrub and liking that. I was think of just using the scrub and the Clinique cream.
What do you think? Should I switch?
P.S. Are toners necessary?
toners are definitely necessary.
It's not a rule to use all the same brand names in your skin regime. i recommend clinique to a lot of people, but using the aveeno scrub will work just as well.

Why Get All When You Can Have One
Don’t judge a book by its cover, they say? But we always do, especially men looking for hot, young, and vibrant attractive females. Beauty may be only skin deep, but makeup flaunts what we got. Beauty products are a woman’s number one best friend, especially when she wants men and other people to notice her.
Being beautiful and staying beautiful requires not only hard work, but also extra money to buy all the enhancing essentials lipstick, mascara, eyeliner, blush, lotions, moisturizer, shampoo, etc. But with financial crisis far from being over, and the Christmas holidays just around the corner, it is unrealistic to be able to purchase some, if not all of these products for daily beauty needs.
To be able to save some cash, not to mention all that time spent in applying and laying on all that gunk on our faces and bodies, some beauty and skin products can have more than one purpose. Some makeup and beauty sets usually employ this technique to be able to cover all the basic, and come up with a cheap affordable kit. Think lipsticks doubling as blushes, or hair conditioner doubling as shaving cream. Here are some tips on how some products can be used in another, more creative and useful way:
Besides eyebrow pencil, using mascara as an eyebrow definer can emphasize both the shape and line of your perfectly trimmed brows.
Hairspray can be used to clean off dirt from plastic and leather.
The Eight Hour Cream from Elizabeth Arden can be used as nail cream, lip balm or to sooth irritation from small minor cuts on the skin. Another interesting way is by using it as salve on horse hooves.
For those doing their own manicures, Sally Hansen’s Diamond Strength can be used both as a base coat and a top coat.
Men’s facial scrub is perfect for cleaning dirt and smoothening the skin are in the upper arms and near the cleavage area.
The Rêve de Miel Lip Balm can double as a lip balm and nail cream, to smoothen and maintain moisture in the lips and nails.
Garnier’s Pure Active Roll On doubles as a deodorant, and as an after-shave cream to minimize skin blemishes and contusions after a leg or bikini wax.
Obtaining the best face lotion and facial creams entails double or triple spending. But Rimmel’s Colour Mousse Eyeshadow is great facial cream which can also be used in the eyes, and mouth to add on that extra shimmer on the skin for a radiant look.
