What could be causing such discoloration?

-------My duvet cover. Its original color is blue (right side) but it's faded whiter (left side), only at the top half which is nearest my head.

-------My towel. Unlike the other two examples, the spotty discoloration seems to be randomly distributed, not concentrated by my head. I have another towel, same material, bought at the same time, but in a deep purple, and it isn't discolored at all.

Acne products generally contain ingredients that can bleach clothing - I too found this out the hard way. That's what's happened to your shirt and your pillowcase. As for the towel, after you've washed your face, do you use the towel to wipe your hands? This happened to my colored towels, too, because I didn't realize the acne product would "bleach" it out and instead of washing my hands I was wiping them on the bath towel I'd just used. Or if you're wiping (blotting) your face with the towel, even after exercising or something, and there is a little residue of the acne product, it will eventually show up this way.
I switched to white towels, light colored sheets, and light t-shirts for sleeping to avoid this problem after I'd ruined a number of pillowcases, sleep shirts, and hand towels!
