Medication Moisture Cream Does anyone know what this is?
A couple of weeks ago i discovered that the outer part of my lips were itchy. As the days went by, they became red, developed scabs on them and were soar. I went to the doctor and assumed that this was a coldsore. I got medication for it. This was about 2 weeks ago. I've been putting the meds on 3 times a day and vaseline for moisture. As of right now it's still here. Its still painful and itchy, but it definatly has improved since 2 weeks ago. But i also have developed the same thing on my eyelids. They are red, itchy and painful. I woke up this morning and one of my eyelids was completly swollen. I put cream on it to calm the itching but it still happens. The dermotoligist said i had excema but is this true? Does the lips have anything to do with my eyelids?
Your dermatologist is the person who would know about this...did she give you a RX for the problem..if not..I think she should have. There is something going on here and the connection of the two areas is not near as important as what's happening and why and how do we fix it. good luck ♥

Which is the most effective moisturiser?

I have quite oily skin with acne problems, but my dermatologist has recommended using a moisturiser after the set medication given, as it will dry out the skin. A chain store gave me several potential moisturisers, but which would be the most effective?

One of the best natural moisturizers I've found is hemp seed oil. Any skin care product such as hemp soap, that contains a lot of hemp seed oil will greatly help your skin. I used to have to always apply lotion after a shower as my skin would get terribly dried out, but since I started using hemp soap I never have to use lotion.
