Micro Dermabrasion Cream
Can I use roc micro dermabrasion and strivectin cream together?
Hi any beauty therapists out there,
I bought a Roc microdermabrasion kit which I used once a week for a deep exfoliation. Then I bought strivectin cream which I use on my face (not for its intended use of stretch marks) I love the strivectin and have noticed a difference in skin tone and texture, I just havn't used both together. I was worried it may be to much, any one know anything about this. My skin is fair, small pores, a bit dry not very sensitive and I am 37. I know the main ingredient in strivectin is palmitoyl pentapeptide 4 can anyone help before I try it and get a mad reaction.
I'm not a beauty therapist, but I love my beauty products and have tried many of the latest innovations.
I would say 'no problem' with using both the Roc dermabrasion kit - once or twice a week - plus the Strivectin-SD cream on a twice-daily basis. I use both and also finish twice a day with a small amount of Creme de la Mer after the Strivectin (on the advice of a Bloomingdales assistant on a trip to NY). My bank manager might not love me but I can see and feel a big difference to my complexion. As a 40-something woman, every little helps! Next on the list to try is the Boots No.7 Protect & Perfect Serum that hit the UK headlines for its proven ability to minimise wrinkles etc. Oh, and Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair is another winner in my book for a smooth and refreshed facial appearance....

???home micro- dermabrasion +chemical peel for stretch marks or face?????
hi 1st i have heard that home dermabrasion is just ok for skin , my skin (face) is fine as far as deep lines go but i have large pores and i want to know if any one thinks this will help ? next i have heard that chemical peals can help with stretch marks, is this true? i want to know if i do the home dermabrasion 1st then wait can i do a home chemical peel on the same area (chest and hips ) also i have a tube of tretinoin cream ( like or is retin a ) 0.025 so very mild can i use this (pharmacist said it is good for stretch marks but mostly for new ones, mine are older) during or after that ? i f not i have a tub of vitamin k lotion for stretch marks and should i use this after chemical peel to help skin and keep moisturized? thank you for your real answers 
For large pores I would suggest you exfoliate your face with a good face wash, splash your face with cold water so it closes the porers, and follow up with a good, light moisturizer that won't clog pores. Depending on your age... if you are under 30, I will suggest this line called Skintelligence 5-piece kit (includes a face wash, normalizer, moistrurizer, masque, and a cellular perfecting complex). and if you are over 30, then try Timeless Prescription Anti-Anging Face Essentials 3-piece kit. I would not do micro-dermabrasion on face if you don't have wrinkles or discoloration. Remember: if you do use it, you have to put sunblock on or stay away from the sun for a couple of days: your skin will burn real fast after the microdermabrasion.
For stretchmarks, you can definitely try the micro-dermabrasion or exfoliation and then I recommend this great product called Pentaxyl. It is so powerful it will take care of the oldest stretchmarks. You have to use quality products to get real results. Companies will have you think that a heavy, low quality cream or lotion is going to have the same results as a high-tech, scientifically backed, innovative formula full of quality ingredients.
