Microdermabrasion All
Microdermabrasion? How much and how was your experience? Any info?
Thinking of getting Microdermabrasion to get rid of all the scar marks that my acne left behind. Theyre not deep or anything but just red dark marks. Microdermabrasion would get rid of that right? What does microdermabrasion also do? Thanks.
I went once, cost $80 and that is a cheaper price.Most places charge more. It was done incorrectly from what I read on different websites. You can expect to have red, sensitive skin and can not wear make up for awhile. If your eyes are not protected correctly, as mine weren't the grit can get in and cause problems. needless to say, I did not go back.
To get rid of minor scars, they would have you coming back many times and you can't go back often.
My suggestion is to buy Neutrogenas microdermabrasion kiy for home and do it yourself. I did research and it appears ythat this is the best brand on the market for the price and results. I use this now for smooth clean skin and saved a lot of money

could microdermabrasion get rid of all blackheads?
To be honest it's a rather extreme way to get rid of blackheads. Yes it'll get rid of them for a short while & probably smooth out the skin caused by previous acne (pots etc) but I'd suggest using electrolysis. You used to be able to get a gizmo from Argos called "zapazit", it put a small electric charge directly into the zit or blackhead & drew it out. Stings a little but for under £10 it's a hell of a lot cheaper that microdermabrasion.
