Am I a canidate for Microdermabrasion?
Basically..I have mild acne, not that bad, but I also have a little bit of scaring. I want perfectly clear skin so I want to get microdermabrasion treatments done. Should I do this or a chemical peel?
I have extremely sensitive skin on my face for some reason so I don't even know if I'd be able to do either.
What are your reccomendations?
You could do either one.
I prefer microdermabrasions. It feeels soooo good!!
If your skin is really sensitive I do a micro. A chemical peel is more intense. Maybe even too intense.

It will ultimately help your skin because it will remove the old, dead skin cells. Microdermabrasian is basically like a massive exfoliation, which means that it's ultimately good for your skin. HOWEVER, like anything else that is a new treatment, particularly one that removes dead skin cells. It may trigger new breakouts at first and you may require several treatments before you start to see results. Don't over agitate your skin, that's for sure! In short, in the long term it's an important treatment that will give you better skin. In the short term, you may see redness or aggrivation.
