Is bare minerals the foundation good for african american skin?
I have heard alot of good reviews about bare minerals, the makeup line. does it work well with african american skin such as coverage? It seems so light, wondering if it would work.
Yep, it should work well.
I was the same way as you. I was afraid I was too light skinned and it wouldnt cover some acne scarring I have. But I use the Fairly Light and since its summer -- I mix in a little bit of the Light foundation in with the Fairly Light since I'm getting a little tanner. But anywho, about the coverage --> Since I have a little more to hide, I put on the foundation once, and then put it on again! I use it 2 times and then I use their Concealer (in Bisque) and apply that twice too. All that makeup and I still look natural! I love it.
I would get the starter kit though -- it comes with 2 shades of foundation so you can mix them up if one is too light or one is too dark. Plus it comes with all the brushes and everything .. I only use the Kabuki brush since its for FULL coverage .. and then only use the Flawless Application Brush for my bronzer since its for light coverage.

Someone from the sephora counter can help you choose which color you are. I went and I was actually lighter than I am in liquid foundations. The people there are very nice.
