How to Be Acne Free Within Three Days
Remember back when you were a teenager, and every single pimple and blemish seemed like the end of the world? Were you one of the kids who didn't just a few spots, but rather a face full of painful, embarrassing blemishes? What if, in just three days, you could make all of those spots just vanish? Well, that's what Acne Free In Three Days, a method published by Chris Gibson, claims to help you with.
What Causes Acne?
First of all, you need to know what causes acne. Acne is caused by blockages in follicles. Follicles are more commonly referred to as pores. For reasons not full understood, the pores get blocked, the oil, or sebum, inside, becomes trapped. Bacteria begins to grow inside them. There are three types of acne - non-inflammatory, inflammatory and milia. When a bacterium stays below the skin's surface, a whitehead is formed and can be seen as tiny white spots. A blackhead, however, occurs when a pore opens and the trapped sebum becomes oxidized, turning dark in color. There are many types of inflammatory acne. The two most common are papule acne, which occurs when a pore becomes inflamed; and pustule acne, which occurs when white blood cells make their way to the surface of the skin. Pustule acne is the most common type, and is what people refer to as "zits." Milia acne occurs when dead skin cells get trapped in pores.
Is It Possible?
Well, yes and no. Acne Free In Three Days basically instructs you in a holistic method of getting rid of your acne. It tells you to go on a special mini-detox cure that lasts for three days. You eat nothing but apples for three days, and it clears out your system and kills all the bacteria causing acne. It works. However, the book does not provide any help in staying acne-free. Unless you plan to eat nothing but apples for the rest of your life, Acne Free Within Three Days will not help you in the long term.
