Do mole removal creams REALLY work?

Do they really remove any type of mole completely??

I recently had a prominent mole removed from my face, and I also considered some of the mole removal creams.

After researching them, I decided that the creams did not work. I asked my dermatologist several questions about them, and they noted that the process can negatively affect surrounding skin and they noted that they've never seen a success story with them. Furthermore, moles can grow back without full removal, thus the creams are a lot of work/money for a temporary solution.

I would recommend getting the mole removed with a surgical procedure, it is quick (one 20 minute review, one 30 minute procedure), painless (the numing agent removed any pain for me, and sensitivity at the incision was gone after a week), and inexpensive with most insurances.

Best of luck - but I'd recommend staying away from mole creams.

Mole removal, Is the cream or laser safer?


I have a a little mole and would like it removed. I seen a dermatrend cream that can remove it and also laser surgery.

I also was wondering wich will leave less of a scar? If you know anything about this please fill me in with more info.
