I've had acne since about age 13. I think stress brought it on, and it kept it there. Recently, I'm 20 btw, I started a skin care regimen. Wash with Cetaphil soap twice daily, apply a cream for blemishes/marks, and sometimes I apply a cream to get rid of the bacteria. It seemed to be working at the beginning, but the other day I woke up with a big pimple and all of these little ones on my cheeks and forehead. Not too noticeable, but I knew they were there. I made an appointment with the derm but it isn't until Feb, and I really don't wanna take antibiotics (I have had to take them for an ear infection and I got a yeast infection. NO MORE!) Does the skin normally get worse before better? How long does everything take to work? Not see results, see the FINAL result - clear(-ish) skin? I tried AcneFree, Proactive, and was thinking about Murad, but I'm tired of spending money on systems that only work if u CONSTANTLY use them. I want to wake up and just have to wash and go, ya know?
Plain baking soda and water mask is by far the best you can do for acne prone skin. Mix a water and baking soda in a cup until the consistancy of a thinner paste. Pat on face (do not rub) and let sit till it hardens then rinse off. This has done miracles for my sensitive acne prone skin!! Plus it's all natural!
RAW EGG
Crack egg whisk and apply to skin leave for 15 to 20 minutes.Smells and feels weird but you see iand feel it working after the first use.Will help take away the greasy feel of your skin.
Aloe Vera Plant
cut off a piece and squeeze the goopy gel inside and apply to skin.It lightens and fades scars while fighting and preventing acne.Apply before bed let dry[2-3 min tops]and sleep with it on soft glowing skin in the morning.Found at latin stores and natural health stores also
Moisture Mask
Mix 2 tablespoons honey with 2 teaspoons milk. Smooth over face and throat. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
