Neutrogena Acne Control Lotion
help me!! i need clear skin before school!!?
I brought some Neutrogena Acne Stress Control lotion. Its the Hydrating Acne Treatment 3-in-1 and instead of helping me it totally ruined my skin. I usually have really clear skin, only a break out every-once-in-awhile and after applying this i got a patch of dry skin on my chin. It started to scab over so its an eye sore. I started putting E oil on it to try to help but it didn't seem to help and now my mom (shes a nurse) said to apply a different cream for like burns and scraps..because thats what it looks like. I start school on the 2nd and i would loooveeee for this to be healed or at least look a little better because theres only so much make up can do. What should i do or buy to try to speed up the healing without making it any worse?!
To be honest, I'd just wash your face with water. The less you irritate it with creams the faster it will heal.
Of course your mum will know what creams will and won't help, but just keep it to a minimum.

Neutrogena oil - free acne stress control foam wash?
I just used it with my lotion. I have sensitive skin and it minimize my pimples fast and it was gentle to my face. I just wanna know how long it takes to completely work.
Any product (OTC or RX) takes up to 28 days to see visible results (if not more based on your personal metabolism). This is bc we have approx 28 layers of skin and every day we shed a layer. The most healthy layer of skin needs to rise to the surface before you can assess the benefits of your products. So in short, 1 full month if you are in good health. Stay committed.
