Can i mix clinique cleanser with something else?


i'm using the 3-step system but i think the cleanser in it isn't meant to remove your make up...before this i used to use nuetrogena fresh foaming cleanser plus make up remover in one...so would it be okay if i mix that and the clinique cleanser together just so i can get my make up off as well as cleanse my skin? b/c i think i'm starting to break out b/c not all my make up/foundation is coming off properly...

You need to get a better cleanser or use a make up wipe before you wash your face. But if you can't, you should be using Step 2 (Toner) after you cleanse your face so that should be getting off the remaining make up.

Beauty question about acne on my back?


I use an acne foam wash that reduces redness and irritation for my back acne. It works well. I have flakes of skin come off onto my clothes though, so I decided to exfoliate the other night. I did that with water and a mesh bath poof before cleansing. How often should I do this? It made my skin look great but I know overdoing it will cause more harm than help.

Also, will the mesh bath poof develop bacteria? How do I clean it? Do I need to use a new one each time? That's expensive.

As long as you keep the poof clean and soak it in hot water every now and then, it should be fine. As for your skin, exfoliate only once a week.
