My skin is VERY oily, what can I do to control the production of oil throughout the school day?
I'm in college for around 6 hours. My nose is EXTREMELY OILY 1 hour in I am blotting. Then the oil starts on my chin, cheeks and forehead. It is everywhere! Powder does not help, witch hazel does not help, St. Ives does not help, washing my face does not help, etc. I was told not to use moisturizer because my skin is already oily. What do I do?
I use oil absorbing powder. jsyk (I will admit that I don't "touch up" during the day with powder...yeah)
Okayy i have the same prob, heres what i do and it workks pretty good!.....makeup and other products dont work of course because it just makes more oil on your face. The oil and stuff also increases acne ect........USE CLEAN AND CLEAR OR OTHER FACE PRODUCTS LKE NUETRAGENA!!!

How to control my oily skin?
I've used loose powder makeup to absorb excess oil,
I use oil blotting sheets (about 3 a day)
I use a mask and a pore refining toner,
But my pores are still big and my skin remains oily! Sigh!
I've read the answers submitted. Seems most want you to put "piss" on your face. Who was the idiot to take that dare or pass out and get pissed on?
Seriously,
I would lighten up on the Thickness of the make-up and the duration.
Try rinsing you face with just warm water and blotting dry several times a day. Re-apply a light coat of make-up if necessary.
If it will work for you, .You'll see a BIG difference in just days!
