Oil Massage Cleanser Do I wet my face before using this cleanser?

I recently bought Laura Mercier's oil free gel cleanser and on the directions it just says:
Gently massage product on the skin
Rinse with lukewarm water
So my question is am I supposed to wet my face and hands ( lether it up) before I put it on my face or do I just apply it to directly onto a dry face?

Yes... You should have a little water on your face so that it lathers up better and you are able to clean your face well.
