Oiliness Acne Care
Oiliness Acne Care
PLEASE HELP!!! I NEED YOUR HELP!! thank you?
I went on Diane 35 about 2 years ago to help clear up mild acne, and it worked wonderfully and my skin was always flawless. I am still taking Diane, but stopped about 3 months ago for about a month. In the last 4 or 5 months, my skin started to get really oily and ive started to break out constantly. Its not bad acne at all, just little pimples but there is quite a few of them, and theres a couple big ones usually. I just dont understand this or why its happening? I use all the proper skin care and just dint understand what changed. I know i stopped taking Diane for a month, but dont you think it should have kick back in by know? Plus, the oiliness started before I stopped the birth control. What do you think? should i try a different birth control? Or should I just wait for it to kick in ( and will it?)
Well maybe you should wait a little longer but while you wait here are skin tips.
1.1. Drink water (which is good for your skin and the rest of your body)
2. Eat your veggies (good for skin)
3. Vitamin C (found in oranges) help your skin to heal faster
4. Change your pillowcase weekly (Gets rid of dead skin cells and things from your hair and body that can get on your face and clog pores)
5. Wash your face, use a toner, and moisturize twice a day (mornings and nights)
6. Never use body soap on your face
7. If you have body acne, change your sheets on your bed every four or five days (same reason as pillowcase)
8. Use Clean and Clear oil absorbing sheets (http://cleanandclear.com/productdetail.d... during the day when your skin is oily (oil can cause clogged pores)
9. Use oil free products on your face for better results and less clogged pores
10. Use a mask for your face (the peel off kind) to help get rid of dirt on your face, weekly.
11. Keep hair out of your face (especially when you sleep)
12. Don’t touch your face with your hands, which can transfer oil and dirt from your hands to your face.
13. When your face is sweaty, or something, rinse it with water to clean it off.
14. Never pick at them either.
15. When drying the skin, PAT dry don’t rub, this can irritate skin.
16. Try and use moisturizer with spfs in it too.
17. Get as much sleep as possible too.
18. Don’t stress about it! Everybody gets it so stay positive!
Good luck!

How do I reduce oil on my face?
My face is so oily, it's gross. I wash it twice a day. I take really good care of my skin, I don't know why it does that. I have a lot of acne because of it's oiliness. I want to reduce the oil because I don't like the feel of the skin on my face or the shininess of it. Thanks!
I would definitely recommend using products specifically designed for oily/breakout prone skin. They will help you control oil throughout the day and that should cut down on the shine as well. Make sure that your moisturizer and makeup (coverup) is oil free also. I would suggest checking out The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil line, or Clinique's skin care line. Personally, I've been using Proactiv for years with great results. Remember that your diet, lifestyle, sleep and water intake can massively influence your skin's condition. Nurture your body, and your skin will thank you! Make sure to drink lots and lots of water, eat a balanced diet consisting of whole grains, plenty of fresh veggies and fruits, fish and lean meats. I also found Leslie Baumann's "The Skin Type Solution" book very helpful.
