can I use extra virgin olive oil as a facial moisturizer?
well I usually don't use moisturizer, just facial cleanser and acne preventer wash once a day, so I have a clean skin, but it's a bit dry.. I don't want to use a lot of moisturizer since it can cause acne. I was wandering it it's ok to use extra virgin olive oil on face just once a week or so to keep it looking smooth and nice... and will it cause pimples? I mean keep it for about 10 min then wash it off with a cleanser
not a lot, just a thing layer using cotton ball
Yes, you can. Just don't use too much. A little oil goes a long way. But if you do use too much, blot your face with a towel. I use grape seed oil, which absorbs better into the skin and is full of antioxidants.
