So, my skin isn't all that great and I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it!
My skin is:
- acne-prone
- uneven in color
- scarred
- dry and flakey
- large-pored
I've tried a lot of different things, like store bought acne cleansers like Neutrogena Oil-Free acne cleanser, clean and clear, proactive, acne-free, clearasil both the original and the 3 day thingy. also as for moisturizers goes, i've tried the clean and clear soft day time one.
I've also read that oatmeal, baking soda, salt and sugar work, i tried it, it worked a little, but it also stung like a mother.
so, what are the best ways to fix these problems?
preferably within reasonable price
patience is virtue.
first of all lay off the makeup
second of all dont touch your face
and third..drink plenty of water and get lots of exersize.
Wash face with a neutrogena oil free cleanser the grapefruit one...use a tiny little squirt..the size of the tip of a pencil. A little goes a long way,
Ponds dry skin lotion mixed with neutrogena anti acne mosturizer..again use a tiny bit..!!
Less is more.
Also a zit cream is good to go under the lotions.
At night use neutrogena deep clean ultra foaming cleanser,
All of this stuff works you just have to be patient!!
It takes about 4-6 weeks to see a difference in anything you do.
Also this brand is amazing if you have the money that is

Does Noxzema Original work well on sensitive/acne prone skin?
I have sensitive/acne prone skin and just wanted to know if it works well with my skin type. My mom has used it her whole life, though she has never had a huge problem with acne. just a few pimples here and there. How long should I leave it on? How often should I use it, and how long would it take to see an improvement?
