combining acne medication?


i used to use 2 different brands of acne meds and my face would get worse and then my mom found brand new 'clean and clear' and 'nuetrogena' at a yard sale at bought it. i used nuetrogena for a while but it also seemed to make my face worse. so i decided to try clean and clear. im using the 'daily pore cleanser with micro scrubbers' and 'deep action cream cleanser'. my face seems to be clearing up but is it ok for me to be using 2 different clean and clear at once?

i've always had really bad acne so i've always combined acne medications (sometimes more than 4)

I think it depends on your skin type. If you're a sensitive do not because it will dry out your skin but if you have combination/oily i suggest you give it a try. (if it doesnt work/too strong) stop one of them.

Do realize that if you start combining medication each time period you will only need stronger and stronger medications ... so if the current one is working, i think you should just stay on it, but if it is not satisfactory then give it a try

how many times should I cleanse my face?


I have dry skin,and I'm using the clean and clear daily pore cleanser with micro scrubbers.
Will twice a day too much? once in the morning,once in the night.
And,do I have to use moisturizer after cleansing? what's consequence if I don't use moisturizer after cleansing?
and are there any replacement choices if I don't want to use a moisturizer?

For dry skin, washing twice a day is probably too much, especially since many acne products contain harsh chemicals. If the micro scrubbers are exfoliating beads, then I wouldn't recommend using it too much as exfoliating your skin often will leave it very dry as well. I would recommend moisturizing because not only do you have dry skin, but washing your face with a product like that will dry it out more. Really, it is just what feels best for your own skin.
