Pores Acne Face wash for sensitive skin to help acne/pores?
I have really sensitive skin and my face gets dry depending on what products i use. I am using cetafil now and its not helping at all, i have been using it for a few months and i am still breaking out badly. Any suggestions?
i have some home remedies you may be interested in trying.. however i'm not sure how they would work for extremely sensitive skin.. so if you try these test them on a spot first just to make sure you don't react to it.. i have slightly sensitive skin and they don't harm me but ya never know..
take about four aspirin and dissolve them in a few drops of water.. add a squirt of honey and make it into a paste.. this can be used as a facial scrub, mask if left on for ten minutes, or spot treatment left on over night.. aspirin has the same active ingredient as pro active..
another thing i do for pores is scrubbing my face with an electric toothbrush.. it sounds weird but it does work.. it really cleans out your pores and removes dead skin and oil.. i do it about three times a week.. you can use any scrub you like.. or the aspirin i mentioned.. i like to use st. ives.. they make a version for sensitive skin.. it's available at walmart for under five dollars..
for a moisturizing mask.. try whipping up an egg yolk and applying it to your face.. leave it on for ten minutes and rinse it off..
watch the make up you use also.. a mineral based make up would probably help you out.. they don't clog your pores and they actually improve your skin.. i use bare minerals.. it's a bit expensive but you can get a starter kit with everything you need for about 60 dollars.. if you would like to check them out their website is:
Reports show that most adolescents and an important part of adults suffer of acne. Even though it affects 50 % of adult women, acne appears at males and females alike, no matter their nationality.
We offer you 5 tips in order to help you prevent or treat acne and maintain a healthy skin. You should know that they are not arranged in a certain order.
1. You must get fresh air and sunshine for vitamin D, this is an important ingredient for a healthy skin. And you should know that besides the vitamin D for your skin, your body and mind will enjoy the oxygen and in this way stress will be reduced. But don’t forget to use sun protection lotions if you stay in the sun for a long time, because you don’t want to get a sunburn. A sunburn skin means dead skin cells which block pores and lead to acne.
2. You should remember also that extra stress when planning a wedding, graduation, a move, a new job, a job transfer, a new baby etc. can lead to acne, too. When you are in such a situation you must plan your time carefully and arrange some extra rest – like meditations or listening to relaxing music-, or maybe you should take some time off and exercise (practice a sport that you like). All you need to know is that you must do all the things that makes you feel great.
3. Another important aspect when speaking about acne is water. You must drink a lot of water daily, specialists recommend three to four tall glasses of mineral or filtered water. Too little water can lead to dehydration, so dead skin cells which means blocked pores and acne.
4. There is a connection between acne and dirt. It is important to wash and maintain a proper skin, that’s true, but you shouldn’t over-wash or over-scrub your face or body because this can lead to a dry skin and a dry skin means a skin which creates more oil. And the result we have is: Extra oil + extra dead skin cells = blocked pores, acne. And here we are, back of the same old story.
5. And last but not least is eating a healthy meal, rich in fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts. It was discovered in Brazil that deficiencies of selenium and zinc have been associated with acne. So add salads, dried fruit and nut snacks, juices and other healthy food to your daily meals.
