Pregnant Acne Treatment

Should I see a doctor about my acne being pregnant?


I am about 3 months pregnant and my acne has been getting worse. I use a good face wash/scrub and a benzoyl cream. Pre-pregnancy, my skin had one or two pimples but cleared in a couple days with my at home treatment. Now, nothing works. Should I see my doctor to get it looked at and treated or will it go away soon? I am already self-conscience and this does not help. I feel like a fat blob covered in acne! Help!!!
My face is neither oily nor dry. After I wash it, it becomes dry but evens out within the next hour. With my first pregnancy with my son, my face was clear and "glowing." Why is this so different?
I wash twice a day. Also I would appreciate no mean answers thank you.

theres really nothing that the doctor can do for you.
he cant prescribe medicine because it can hurt the baby.
acne is a part of pregnancy (sometimes)
just keep washing your face, hopefully it goes away

What is the best complete acne treatment to use while pregnant?


I have dry/flaky/moderate acne prone skin and I am in my first trimester with my second child. I have had acne since about 12 yrs. old and with the added stress of a toddler and another pregnancy my face has just erupted. I am in my early 20's now. Anything anyone recommends that really truly works and doesn't cost a fortune and is also safe to use while pregnant?

for sure dont take any pills or acne meds. stick to external treatments.
