Prevent Acne Diet
Foods to avoid in my diet?
I am just wondering, but what foods would I try to avoid in my diet to prevent spots and acne?
Food doesn't really cause acne.
Talk to your doctor who will give advice and if necessary either antibiotic or hormone medications.
For general health eat lots of fruit and vegetables, proteins and whole grains (like wholemeal bread, wholewheat cereals and pastas), not too much fat, added sugar or salt.
Cut down on fast food and ready meals.

RE: Diet and Acne. Myths and tips about what in your diet will cause or prevent acne.
What should i eat to prevent acne?
Acne is a very difficult skin disease to treat and even more difficult to get rid of entirely. One great way to clear your skin is with an acne food diet- eating healthy foods that are specifically chosen because they have a known effect to be good for your acne problem. Check out the tips below to include into your existing daily acne diet.
1. Include lots of fiber Ever wonder why most acne diets include apples? (hint: it's for the fiber. Fiber is an important thing to include in your acne food diet because it removes the waste from your body. This waste includes all of the things that your body either doesn't need or wants to get rid of, like toxins and oxidizers that can wreak havoc on your skin. Fiber is a great way to soak up these toxins before they reach your skin. Include a few apples or bran products in your daily diet to get a good amount of fiber.
2. Supplements. Vitamin or herbal supplements are a super good way to make your acne food diet instantly more effective. They can do a myriad of things to clean your body and skin, including flushing out your liver to keep it functioning and regulating the things that pass through your body. Some of the more recommended supplements are fish oil (high in omega 3 fatty acids), milk thistle (good for cleansing the liver), and vitamin b (helps the digestive system break down proteins).
3. Drink plenty of water. Drinking lots of water helps to flush toxins out of your system and prevent acne from forming, and is one of the most overlooked parts of an acne food diet. In order to get your skin soft and smooth, you should drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, and in some cases even more. Acne sufferers are usually normally dehydrated in the first place, so feel free to drink up to 10 glasses a day. Don't overdo it though, as drinking too much water at one time can cause kidney failure. Try to spread them out throughout the day.
Acne doesn't have to be so difficult to get rid of. Use the 3 tips above in your acne food diet and you'll start seeing improvements in no time.
