Does water really make your face shiny?
I've been drinking a lot of water lately, and since it's been so hot out I've been taking a plastic bottle of water everywhere I go on my campus. As of recently, I've been washing my face with Proactiv and taking regular showers, and today my hair and face both look really shiny! Could this be from drinking water and nourishing my face with cleanser?
I've also been sweating, and my face looks like it's clearing up. Does sweat cause your pores to be clean, or to release the bad stuff in your pores?
Thanks!
there have been times when I really get into drinking a lot of water and each time I have noticed my face looking a little better (just smoother and I'm the only one that actually notices it, lol). anyways, when I've stopped drinking a lot of water, my face went back to looking the same. so yes, it most likely is the water. but I don't know about the shine.
if your hair looks shiny, maybe that can be due to the sun because it makes hair texture smoother.
yeah, sweating does release toxins from the body.
whatever it is keep it up!
