Does proactive skin care (the stuff the Lindsay Lohan uses) work for people without acne. I dont have acne but i do get spots sometimes, is it better not to use it if i dont have acne or skin problems.

The Importance of Proactive Skin Care
Proactive skin care is essential in creating and maintaining, healthy youthful skin. Clear, smooth, glowing skin is a hallmark for beauty. I wouldn't waste the money. The stuff doctors "sell" is notoriously over-priced and unnecessary. I wouldn't trust it. A prescription is one thing – but anything they're "selling is just something they're doing to make extra money on the side.
She can try Proactive — that's got benzoyl peroxide in a mild formula w/ other items in the set that help to keep skin moisturized. I think you can get your first trial package for about $20 — or order it on Amazon etc for about $30. But that's still a bit pricey, so you can use Neutrogena "On the Spot" treatment — under $10 and has only 2.5 Benzoyl Peroxide (same as ProActive) and 2.5 is better than 10, because it's less drying. You don't want to over dry the skin because it will just cause the skin to produce more oil — vicious cycle. So less is more
— but no way do you need the stuff the dr is selling — I'm sure it's probably just a copy of ProActive and you can fine that for way less than $135!
You can find ProActive in a mall kiosk (see below) or order online. Neutrogena is at any drugstore, Wal-mart etc. Sea Breeze also makes a mild toner. Only 1% Salicylic Acid and is sold at any drugstore, etc.
