Problem Spot Acne i'm 16; and i have a horrible acne problem and it seems to sprout everywhere; they also leave spots;?
I've seen many dermatologists and most recommended anti biotics, but overuse weakens the body so i want to find an alternative that will work fast. I've tried allopathic, homeopathic and herbal cures but none had complete or lasting effects. Please suggest something that will work fast!!
Have you tried different eating habits? If you eat fast food or a lot of greasy and sweet foods (fast food falls into this category again) then you will have acne. Drink water often, cut down on the trashy food and drink and go easy on the facial products. But keep your face clean. You should see some clearing. Also, ask your parents about their experience with acne. How long did they have it and how bad. Could be an indicator of how you'll have to deal with it.

Acne Problem!?
Ok, so I'm a young teenager who's generally got oily skin and hair. I recently have gotten contacts and I got my hair dyed. I was at the pool yesterday and a couple of people said I had gotten "real pretty" over the summer. That surprised me and made me feel better about myself, but one thing is still bugging me. I have all this stubborn acne! I wash my face every night and morning and use a special "On the Spot" acne cream, and my face has cleared up a little, but it is still taking forever to go away! I'm sick of it. I know we all can find things about ourselves that we don't like but I can't stand it any more. It makes me feel ugly. I want to look decent when I go back to school. Any advice or tips? Is there anything out there that really works? Thnxs!
I always wash with Neutrogena early in the morning and at night. You may want to start washing your face whenever it feels oily.
You may also want to try to exfoliate. I use the one from St. Ives, an Apricot Scrub. Don't over exfoliate, though!
Try to relax, is the best tip though. If there's something that really relaxes you, I think you should try to do it. Also keep up an eye out for anything that you know stresses you out and try to avoid it.
