Problem Spot Will a unlevel spot under my DuPont laminate flooring cause a problem or just be annoying?
I just put down dupont liminate. I noticed a bouncy spot and tried to level it with a level compund. I thought I did a good job and put the floor down. I can still feel it move it that spot. Should I be worried? It would be very difficult to pull it all back up again. They also say not to unsnap the planks more then 3 times and I already did that in some spots.
I don't think it is more then 1/4 of movement, but just my luck it is in a high traffic area. My feeling is just to leave as is and hope for the best.
Even very small imperfections can cause a little movement.
If it is very minor, there is no need to worry. The floor will not squeak or crack or anything like that. The concern is that the repeated flexing of the boards will cause the tongues to weaken and the joints to separate. If this happens you can glue the seams and tap the boards back together with a pull bar.

Facial spot problem?
Hey. I have a big problem at the minute, with big, red spots on my forehead. They are red, but they are very big underneath my skin.
I eat very well. I do not have that much junk food or rubbish.
I drinks lots of water, more than the average. And i have been doing for a long time now.
I cleanse my skin morning anf night time. I use a daily facial srub, and also a facial foaming wash.
I have no idea what so ever why i am getting them. It is normally a big one, and it feel really big underneath the skin. I do put a litte make-up on, but i ensure it is washed off as soon as i get in.
I have a bacterial gel to put on them. It forms a dry covering over the spot. But at the moment, it doesnt seem to be shifting them.
Generally, i have good skin. I just have problems on my forehead.
Is there anyhing i can do to help them go away?! haha.
P.s, is sleep connected to spots breaking out in some way?
thankyou xxx
I SUFFERED WITH EXACLTY THE SAME PROBLEM FOR YEARS...only spots on my forhead. I discovered I can't use facial scrubs, I realised this after stopping my use, that they actually CAUSED some spots.
After using the most expensive brands out there; dermologica, clinique etc I realised sometimes the more chemicals that you use on your face, the more spots you get.
I made my daily cleansing routine more simpler-simpler is definitely better.
I recommend using dove soap (a bar)$ on your face after removing your make-up. Dove soap gives your face a real good wash (better than clinique's soaps, honestly), squeaky clean-literally! But only apply the soap on your forhead, nose and maybe chin (the t-zone), otherwise you could dry out your face.
Then swipe round your forhead and nose with toner-again you could dry it out.
When applying moitsuriser to your face, apply it GENEROUSLY to cheeks , around eyes and neck, Not to your forhead because by the sounds of things it's greasy enough and doesn't need any moisture (like mine's).
This may seem simple, using 'dove soap bar' but it honestly worked for me and hopefully it will for you too ;0)
Or if you have the funds use "Liz Earl" products...her cleansers and toners are really good!!!But if you're on a budget, dove's your best bet!!!
P.s. if you put on foundation, go easy with applying it on your forhead too-and keep it on for the minimum time too
PPS Give this routine a few weeks before being spot -free. ALSO keep your hair off of your forhead during the night by clasping your fringe back
