Is preservative free Rohto V - ICE safe to use more than the suggested dosage?
I had lasik eye surgery about a month ago, and I just bought this brand as a larger bottle of preservative free eye drop. It isn't an artificial tear, but I've been told it's the preservative in most eye drops that degrade the cornea--this brand and solution are supposed to be free of that. Plus it's cooling and effects long lasting; if there is an ingredient listed that I should be concerned about, please enlighten me.
Active Ingredients:
Hypromellose 0.2% - Lubricant
Tetrahydrozoline HCL 0.05% - Redness reliever
Zinc sulfate 0.25% - Astringent
Inactive Ingredients:
boric acid, edetate disodium, menthol, polysorbate 80, purified water, sodium borate
The suggested dosage is 1-2 drops up to 4 times daily. But given the lasik, I would like to be able to use much more than that. The ampules in most preservative free drops are a pain in the butt.
