Recover Acne Blemish

what do you call these things?

Well, my complexion isn't very good, and i have pimple breakouts every now and then, but less often, as i grow older. So when i finally recover from them, they leave those part of my skin in a slightly darker shade of brown than other parts of my face that didn't have pimples on them. But no, they do not protrude in anyway like how a pimple does, completely flat, and painless, just unsightly.

What are these actually? Acne scars? Blemish? or what? I need this info so i can buy the correct off-the-shelf products for my skin.
acne scars? But aren't acne scars supposed to be uneven? My skin is completely even though.

It could be acne scars...there are different types of scars and you may have flat ones. Everytime your skin has a blemish the skin around it breaks down a little bit (my dermatologist told me). OR you may be getting hyperpigmentation from sun exposure. If you are using spot pimple cream on the blemishes it is VERY important that you use sunblock. Sunblock can sometimes be too creamy and cause breakouts so try Neutrogena dry touch sunblock or Colorscience powder sunblock. Good luck

Skin79 Dreamgirls BB Cream Review PT. 1/2

I'm recovering from my acne outbreak. I have some red blemishes I would like to cover up when at work, How?

I'm 22 and I sell Cars for a living. So you can guess, appearance often makes an impact, if not on the customer, then on me. I have some red blemishes left over from acne scarring and was wondering what was the best method to cover it up at work, that wont produce me to break out. I'm thinking makeup or something, if so what is the best product?

Depending on the color of your skin, you may not even need any makeup.

I know Physicians formula makes either green or yellow "concealer" sticks that are made to cover spots on your face. The "odd color" (green or yellow) balances out the harsh reds in your face so they're less noticeable.

I know, who would have thought putting something green on your face would make you look BETTER?

If that doesn't work, then just try some spot concealer... a little dab will do you. Test them out in the store before you buy- the color of your face usually matches the color on the inside of your skin (unless you tan a lot, and then you'll have to guess!)
