Best spot treatment cream, and reducing redness of spots?


So, I don't suffer bad with acne, I just get a couple of spots now and again which aren't very bad, however recently, even though I seem to have perfect personal hygiene, I've noticed a lot of spots on my face recently.

I have two pretty big ones, one near my lower lip, and one on my forehead. I am going out at the weekend for a friends birthday and don't want my spots to be glowing red as they are now.

I have applied toothpaste on them before I sleep, and sometimes during the day which hasn't really done anything for them. Is there any alternative methods that reduce the redness in say 1-2 days?

Also, I was wondering which daily face scrub/wash for spots is best, either from your own personal experience of reccomendation? As I want to start using a wash aswell as soap to hopefully keep my face as spot free as possible.

i used clinique acne treatment now my face is red! what do i do to get rid of the redness?


just because you scrubbed to hard, or you took a very hot shower using it. Wait a little while and see how it turns out. If nothing happens then just ice your face, it always helps =)
