Reducing Red Acne Scars
Reducing Red Acne Scars

how to reduce acne redness and acne scars naturally?
I've done this 3 day diet thing, i didn't do it right, but it still helped. Now, i still have a few spots of acne left, and i noticed for the first time, there are these red scars. So, does anyone know how to naturally, like home remedies, or a diet, not tablets or medication, reduce these?
I used the neutrogena home solutions kit. It significantly reduced my acne scars, but not completely.
I went for two sessions of professional microdermabrasion, and that worked absolute miracles. Its pretty expensive though.
Scar Zone, mederma, and cocobutter work too, but take a LONG time to do so. FInd products with silicone in them.

Acne scars & other skin questions?
Hello, I'm looking for some product recommendations. I started breaking out when I was 7. I'm now 21, and over the past year or so my acne had improved on its own (tried every over the counter and prescription available, except accutane because apparently my skin "wasn't bad enough").
I still break out, and recently tried a sample of neoceuticals spot acne treatment, which seemed to work alright, but I want more recommendations before I actually go and buy it.
I get the nodule types of acne on my chin area, and sometimes around my lips (they are not cold sores), and little blemishes on other areas of my face that sometimes come in patches. I also have bad looking skin because of the acne that I used to have. It has red spots all over it, and is just... "dull" might be the word. I always look dirty when I'm not wearing makeup.
What are the best products that you know of for reducing blemishes, and fading acne scars/making skin just look BETTER??
I found that the face products actually made my skin worst! All those cleansers just irritated my skin, and although in the begining you may notice an improvement, later on your skin will get used to the product and start breaking out again x
Now i stick to products that are more gentle to my skin and that are natural...
I use mineral powder foundation to cover my blemishes - this is the best foundation to use as it doesnt block the pores and it has minerals which are beneficial for the skin! it also has spf15 to help prevent sun damage and wrinkles
x
To remove my makeup i use 'Avene face wash', it does not contain many chemicals and contains avene water which is soothing to the skin and helps reduce redness. This is targeted to people with sensitive skin, and even though i do not suffer from this, i find that this is the best face wash to use as its extremely gentle.
After doing this step, i get a wet cotton pad and add salt to it. I then gently rubb this on my face and leave it there for 2-3 hours (or more). The salt is absolutly amazing to the skin! Its an anti bacterial so it kills the bacteria and it dries excess sebum production! Seriously this has saved my skin...after a week of doing this process i could see a great diference. I used to have around 10pimples in each side of my face, and now it has reduced to only two minor pimples from the whole of my face.
(I think i have these still mainly couz i dont drink enuff water and couz im still in puberty - im 16)
To fade away my blemishes i use lemon. Like salt, lemon is an anti bacterial. Its also a natural bleacher and so the redness of previous pimples fade. I still have a few in my face but instead of them taking a year to fade away naturally, with the lemon the process reduces to around two months (if you are consistent with applying lemon). I leave the juice on my face for around 3hours, but i keep reapplying it every hour. (ive got some now on my face actually lol)
So yeah huni just stick to gentle cleansers and natural products..Hope i helped
x
