St. Ives Apricot Scrub (blackheard & blemish control) VS Clean & Clear Blackhead Clensing Scrub?
They both have Salicylic Acid (2%) that fights the acne... but which is better in your opinion? I think the only big diff to me is the roughness (C&C has softer scrubing beads whereas St.Ives has grittier (sp?) particles in it to lift the dead skin & blackheads) I like both...kind of prefer the Apricot scrub cause it is grittier & I don't have sensitive skin that can't take it so it makes my skin feel a little cleaner, but I just want to know others opinions. Oh, BTW I am wondering what it did for anyone with blackheads, not so much as pimples or acne because I do not have acne at all, I hardly EVER even get 1 pimple, but I have some blackheads on my nose & this is the main reason I use these products. Thanks in advance! 
hey there, i use St. Ives and it works great on my face! it leaves my skin smooth and soft, and i noticed my blemishes go away. I have smooth skin too but I occasionally have one or two break outs specially when i dont get any sleep and get stressful, I definitely prefer St. Ives, its rocking my world ever since i started using it.

As you can see, at this age the matter of acne can be a matter of life or death for some people. It affects their self-esteem and has a big contribution on their future. But it should not be like that. Clearing pimples and blemishes is not so hard if you follow some quick tips to clear them.
I always stress the importance of cleaning your face. When I say it, I mean it. Often I encounter people that say they have done it, but actually they just do it one or two days, after that they forgot or they became too lazy. Do not be one of them, as you will neverget rid of pimples and blemishes fast. The best way is to wash your face two or three times a day and preferably with a mild, fragrance free soap. The perfumes from the soaps are chemicals which irritate your face and are harmful for your acne condition.
Another thing which I must admit I was guilty to is to prod and poke the pimples. Most of the times the result is even more pimples and blemishes and even worse, an infected face. The bad thing is that you could end up with permanent scars which are much more difficult to clear.
Exfoliating your face regularly is very good for removing the dead cells from your face, removing pimples and generally maintaining a clean face. Otherwise the pores will be blocked with the dead cells forming the ugly whiteheads and spots. There are many products on the market for scrubbing your face, however I prefer the natural one that my mother thought me. Mix some water with maize or bran as you wish. Scrub gently your face, then wash your face. Apply some cream after that. For the body I like to use olive oil instead of water.
Another great thing is to stay away from food with too much oil and fat. Fast-food should be avoided altogether and remember fruits and vegetables with plenty of water are the best to get rid of pimples and blemishes.
