Does blue light acne treatment actually work? I have severe acne...?
I'm going to start this kind of treatment next month and I would really like to know if it works. i've tried everything to treat my acne. it's just gotten worse and worse throughout the years despite the medications prescribed by dermatologists i've used.
TO ANYONE WHO HAS GOTTEN BLUE LIGHT ACNE TREATMENT BEFORE: does it work? if so, how long does it take to notice results? or does it make your acne worse? and what are some side effects?

I have never heard of it, but here are some tips that helped me:
STOP eating and drinking foods with refined or artificial sugars, like high fructose corn syrup, crystalline fructose or aspartame/phenylalanine. Up your vitamin C, K & A. Do some exercise like dancing or yoga. Get a little sun everyday, no more than 10 minutes if you have a light complexion. Drink more water. Try using witchazel as a toner during the day, and unfiltered apple cider vinegar at night.
A raw potato is cheap and brilliant acne natural cure, especially for whiteheads. The vitamin C makes your skin glow, and alkaline in the potato kills the bacteria on your face. The potato also has an exfoliating effect helping you to get rid of dead skin cells. Papaya fruit produces similar effect; you should also use it raw. (Make sure the potato isn't genetically modified!)
A wash of milk with lime is a great treatment for blackheads. First bring a glass of milk to a gentle boil, and then add juice from half a lime. When the milk cools down it makes a great face wash. You can store it in the fridge for a couple days. (Make sure the milk doesn't come from cattle that have been treated with rBGH)

Try this:
Clear Skin Remedy
Ingredients:
Besan which is also known as (Gram Flour)
Fresh lemon juice
Yogurt
Turmeric powder (optional)
Method:
Add 1-2 table spoons of gram flour in a small bowl or plate, then add 1-2 teaspoons of dairy yogurt, give it a mix until it creates a good thick paste, when paste is made add 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, also add just a pinch of turmeric powder mix all together and apply on whole face. Leave to work and dry for 15-20 minutes, after then wash of smoothly by tapping some water on face and rubbing in a circular motion from there completely wash the face. Once washed tap dry with towel.

What are good acne treatments?
I'm getting really desperate here. I've had my acne since third grade(totally unfair). And it hasn't gotten any better!! I've tried a lot of different things...like clearasil, clean and clear, and proactive. Proactive lied. That was a disappointment. None of this helps at all and I'm so lost. I hate my acne and I feel like that's all anyone looks at. I know this isn't true, but I'm so concerned, even though it's not severe. Please does anybody know any good acne treatments?? I'm desperate!
I use Continuously Clear. Its a product from HSN.com. They have adult regimen or youth. It is comparatively priced and works GREAT. I have had acne issues when I hit my mid 20's now I am in my 30's. This is the first product that has kept me clear. It does make your skin freak out at first but it is an adjustment period for your skin. Usually happens the first week. Stick with it and your skin will look AWESOME.
