Severe Adult Acne Treatment

SEVERE ACNE. your experience?

when did your severe acne go away?

(what age)

-any antibiotics or treatments you took?
-accutane?
-just went away with age?

keep in mind i know about adult acne and ect. so i dont need extra info on that. thankyou

Don't believe you'll outgrow it. It's a lie.

I suggest a book called “breaking out.” It’s a great book, covers all available treatments and what to expect from them. It’s changed my life, but nothing really makes it ‘go away’ the minute you stop treating, it comes back. (sigh)

and it’s not your fault. Don’t let anyone tell you it is. IT has ZERO to do with what you eat, or how well you clean your face. It's not your fault.

Btw, Many scentific studies have been done trying to prove it's food related, and so far, none of them have reached that conclusion.

How To Get Rid Of Acne-The Best Acne Treatment

Accutane Experiences for Adult Males?

I am a 27 year old male, and I had severe acne starting age age 15. Facial acne isn't really too bad, but I have very consistent cystic acne on my neck, back, ass, thighs, and chest. For accutane users, what has your post-accutane experience been like? I am sure that it cures acne while you are on it, but I don't want to go through the hassle of the treatment program if within 6 months it was like I was never on it. Also, any tips on dealing with it?

I used accutane in my late teens. My suggestion "Don't use it" Although it did clear my skin it gave me mood swings and became depressed and anti-social. When I recently asked a doctor what he thought he best put it by saying "its like killing a fly on the wall with a gun, you get the job done but leave a bigger problem behind". If you do decide to take it be sure it doesn't interfere with your daily life. Ask your friends if they notice a change in your behavior, if they see you're drawn away from them stop taking it. Be safe and good luck.
