Why do i have oily skin on my nose?


I have oily skin on my nose. Whenever i wash my nose after an hour it becomes oily again. I wanna know what's causing my nose skin to be oily and is it possible to get rid of it permanently without using different products all the time?

It's just your skin type, mine is like that too, I went to see a beautician about it and she said there's nothing you can do to get rid of it permanently. The best thing to do is just to use an exfoliating face wash, that should reduce the oiliness as much as possible. What makeup you use could also be making a difference - a mousse foundation is the best for oily skin.

why does the skin on my nose peel horridly after i bathe?


i use clean and clear on my face, which is mild, but everytime only the skin on my nose peels and it looks so ugly and disgusting! help!

Mine does as well, regardless of what I use so what I usually end up doing is trying to wash my face and avoid my nose or use something like Noxema. The skin on your nose is naturally thinner so it's easier to overdry it. After you wash your face, use a different moisturizer on your nose to keep it from getting too dry. Mine gets pretty bad in the winter so I coat it with chapstick before I go to bed and it doesn't seem to get as bad.
