This will take some time to subside. If you have any antibiotic eye drops you can apply.
What works really well to get rid of acne and skin redness?
I have tried Proactiv but it only works for like a month and then makes it worse.
Is Jessica a boys name? No. I'm a girl.
Skin redness is usually caused by irritation- so just try leaving that skin patch alone for a while Or moisturize it...
Acne troubles-
1: STOP popping the zits. This can make them look worse- I once popped a pimple on my nose that keeps reacurring, and it turned into an ugly old scab... And popping can cause the zit to spread infection under your skin and cause even MORE pimples... like a feild of dandylions
2: Use MILD soap if your skin is sensitive- not a harsh-chemical soap. Antibacterial soap can make breakouts worse.
3: EXFOLIATE to prevent more pimples. If you're a guy, don't worry- it's not that girly. It helps you. Or just regularly wash your face with water.
4: Keep hair off your face, if possible. Hair has oils.
Other creative ways:
Try smashing one tablet of aspirin in a small bowl, then adding lemon juice to the mixture. Aspirin is acetesalicylic acid, chemically related to salicylic acid. Apply to the affected areas overnight. It boosts the healing process while reducing redness.
Try putting toothpaste (paste, NOT gel) on your face, cover it with a bandage, and keep it on all night. When you wash it off in the morning your acne will look better. The astringent and surfactant nature of the toothpaste will help diminish the appearance of pimples. But the toothpaste has been known to burn sensitive skin of the face, so be careful. If your face does burn, stop acne treatments and work on healing your burn.
Another way to zap pimples is shaving cream. Apply it to your pimple and it will dry it up. It disappears by morning, but wash your face after waking up.
If nothing is working for you, drink four tablespoons of apple cider vinegar diluted with water daily. It works very well for some people and is worth a try. Another good solution is aloe Vera gel fresh from the plant, taken orally.
You can also try taking a zinc tablet everyday. Milk is also an acid- it makes your skin smoooooooth!
Hope this helps!!
And remember to gets lots of sleep, too! They don't call it 'beauty sleep' for nothing!!
