Smoothbeam Laser Acne
Has anyone had Smoothbeam laser done fo acne scars?
Hi I was wondering if anyone ever had the Smoothbeam done for acne scars, and if it worked?
Please only answer if you went through w/the whole process (not just one or two sessions). Many people give up after one time and then they come on here to rant and rave about how horrible it is b/c it doesnt work- but the recommended procedure is at least 4-5 sessions to see results. I am hopeful ![]()
Anyhow, I am currently getting the Smoothbeam done for acne scars/ enlarged pores by my dermatologist. I am on my 2nd procedure. I am really antsy about final results. I see very mild ones for now.
Please do share your results if anyone out there has had smoothbeam done!! I would love/need some encouragement, as I am paying tons of money for this!!!!!!!!!, but whats most imprtant is the emotional support. Thanks guys
Honestly, it didn't totally rid me of my scars. I have deep ones though. My skin looks great and it did indeed improve my skin and the scars themselves but they are still there... Try a Fraxel laser. It may be a better option. Just know that smoothbeam will not get 100% results but you will be satisfied. I had 10+ treatments. I got into a study and got free treatments to be used as a guinea pig. It was a good move and i suggest you stay commited to it and keep your head up. Either way you will be happy with the results after 5 or 6 treatments.

smoothbeam laser surgery for acne?
i have mild acne ...white heads and red pimples
they disgust me , i've been using a lot of products like neutrogena proactiv uhmm natures cure and apricot scrub i've taken hormone balance vitamins and like eating 70 % green vegetables but nothing seems to help i dont no the root of where it is starting :[ maybe too much hormones or my skin condition is meant to be like this buutt i want to apply smoothbeam laser surgery im 13 yes pretty young i no but im not really informed with this surgery so can someone explain the costs and any side effect and if it works?? does insurance cover the costs???
Depends on the practice. Some may cover your insurance, and some may not. Beforehand, look in the phone book and call the business you're interested in going to for the surgery, and see if they'll cover you. If not, a good bottle of acne treatment cream works just as well as the scrubs and pills [and you can buy it at walmart for about 2 bucks] . Keep your hands away from your face, don't eat any greasy/fatty foods, and take a shower daily.
