Softening Cleansing
I am a African American Woman with bad acne and dark acne spots (Please Help)?
I have had acne since I was about 13 I am now 23 and I am sick of it I have tried proactive and that does not work I have tried clean and clear that does not work now I am trying ambi fade cream and ambi coco butter cleansing bar soap and palmer's coco butter formula with vitamin E lotion it says it heals & softens rough,dry skin and smoothes marks and tones skin please help me I am losing my mind I really don't like my skin if you have gone through this and know some ways to help me please do and if I am using the wrong stuff please tell me also I forgot I am using Tretinoin cream USP 0.025% and Tri-Luma Cream on my face so like I said I am trying it all please help me if you have any advice and if you are going to be rude about it please keep it to yourself I don't need your negative remarks thanks in advance for the advice
okay look up stuff about apple cider vinegar and i have alot alot of acne marks and it's already starting to lighten/fade them. TRY IT. i looked stuff up on it and your supposed to see a difference in a month but look it up! i'll give you some of the articles i read:

^OH&&&&&&& it gets rid of acne tooooo! it's great. i love it. i've tried so many things and they just don't work. who knew that something sitting in my cupboard was there all along lol. best of luck!

Anyone who used proactiv with the same problem as me?
I have a friend who uses proactiv, and he says the pore-refining mask works really well. I was wondering if I should buy the product. My skin tone is pretty fair. I have some pimples and some in the process of healing on my forehead, cheeks, nose and chin, along with a few zits there from time to time. Around my nose, and my nose itself gets oily and shiny, as well as my forehead. My forehead/chin/nose area gets dry easily after i cleanse. I'm currently using olay daily facial cleansing cloths, i don't tone, and i use yves rocher rehydration and pore-regulation cream. Every 1-2 weeks i use a softening mask. I wanted to know if anyone had the same situation and skin as me and has tried proactiv or any other products that work for them. Please help and give me some adivce! Thnx.
Btw, I'm 15.
I used Proactiv... It helped a little, but not enough for the price.
However, I tried another product called Murad... it has different ingredients, but has the same concept of Proactiv with the auto ship and the twice daily cleanings with 3 products to use (however they have a whole ton of other products you can buy too).
They are both about the same price.
If one doesn't work.. try the other. Everybody is different, so you just have to find the one that works best for you!
Murad worked GREAT for me... I'm 28 and have pimples/zits/blackheads for my whole adult life... It's so nice to finally see a pimple-free face now!
