Soothing Cleanser Wash
Help! I'm breaking out on my new skin care routine!?
I'm only on day 2. I was fine yesterday, but woke up with 4 pimples (3 whiteheads and one red, itchy raised bump)! I've used it 3 times so far (morning and evening). These are the products I'm using, in order:
Exfoliator
St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub (only used it once, I wanted to use it every 2-3 days)
Facial Cleanser
Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Redness Soothing Facial Cleanser (twice daily)
Toner
Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner (only in the mornings, I've used it twice so far)
Moisturizer
St. Ives Mineral Moisturizer with SPF 15 (twice daily)
Any ideas on what I should do? Do I stop using everything, or only some things...? Thanks if you can help me!
An exfoliator should only be used once a week so get off the dead skin. Using this too much will irritate the skin causing acne.
Toners are very harsh and also irritate the skin, causing it to break out. I wouldn't use a toner every day. It's unnecessary and burns the skin. Maybe once a week if you want to even still use it.
You are putting your face through too much every day. You are also stripping your skin's natural oils which will also cause acne. Wash your face in the mornings, and night. I personally like Noxzema Anti-Bacterial Lathering Cleanser.
And since I don't wear foundation or powder, I use a healthy tinted moisturizer. It puts moisture back into skin and also has a tint for some coverage. Safe to wear all day and all night.
So basically, all you need is a good cleanser and a moisturizer.

How to clear up all the bumps around my face and eyes?
Well last Thursday I went to fred myers and bought the new neutrogena oil-free Acne Wash (redness soothing cream cleanser). And when I went home I start using it but than the next morning when I woke up I found out that my face and eyes have small bumps and I don't know what to do about it, please help.
Stop using it for a few days and see what happens
