Spa Deep Cleansing A Facial at a Day Spa is it worth it??
have you ever gotten a deep pore cleanse at a local spa? they charge $55.00, is it truly worth it or could i do it at home? tips pls
Any facial is pretty good to get. They should do the extractions in taking out the built up dirt & oil from your pores (i.e. blackheads, whiteheads, etc.). My facial also looks refreshed afterward, and $55 is cheap compared to alot of places. Just make sure you go to a reputable salon and esthetician. Get referrals from friends. You don't want to go some where and be unhappy, especially when you are contemplating spending $55.
I am constantly breaking out, what are some things I can do to prevent outbreaks?
It started in september 2009 and eversince then I am continuously breaking out. I have done deep poor exfoliation and cleansing at a spa and they have applied high frequency(oxygen) to the infected areas but I still break out. I cleanse my face and exfoliate twice a day and more outbreaks. I need something that will help. My doctor has indicated that my blood results show elevated hormones. What is that supposed to mean and how can I bring them to normal?
unfortunately when you have unbalanced hormones your body produces too much oil for your skin and causes you to get spots. It's very difficult to change your hormone levels unless at the moment you do not drink enough water and eat too many fatty foods. Start with trying to drink 2 litres of water a day and cut out sugary and fatty foods. Also excersising can help to balance hormones. I'm sorry i dont know whether your a boy or a girl, but if your a girl you could consider going on the pill as this helps to regulate hormones or if your a boy you could ask your doctor for antibiotics for acne cause they really work. I didnt want to go on the pill so i decided to take the antibiotics and within 2 weeks i was seeing results. hope that helped a bit.
