3 Crucial Things to Have in Your Serious Skin Care Bag
Everyone wants to look beautiful. With many people getting more and more concerned of their looks, the demands of beauty products have increased numerously throughout the years. However, the very basic of looking beautiful is by having healthy skin and not everyone knows how to take care of his or her skin. One will look good even without makeup if she has healthy skin, while makeup can only do so much if you have pimples to cover up. There are many products available in the market. However, if you travel a lot because of you job nature, you should only need three crucial skincare items in your serious skin care bag, which are facial cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen.
One of the most important skincare products that one must have is a facial cleanser. No one should ever leave home without it. The facial cleanser should be suitable for your skin type, whether it is normal, sensitive, dry, and oily or combination skin. It is very important that your facial cleanser suit your skin, in order to avoid harmful reactions or even allergies. Wash your face in the morning and at night for the best effect. However, if you work outdoor most of the time, you might need to wash your face during the day. Dirt and dust tend to stick to oily skin and may clog pores if it is not cleaned thoroughly. You can also use facial cleanser with tiny beads that will help scrub away dead skin cells and unclog pores, making you look radiant.
Another essential item that you should have in your serious skin care bag is a moisturizer. Moisturizers are available in many forms, such as cream and lotion. They work by locking in water in our skin. A common beauty myth that we often hear is that oily skin does not need to be moisturized. Well, that is a myth indeed, as oily skin also needs moisturizer, although not as much as dry skin. If you have oily skin, choose moisturizers that do not make your skin feel oilier. A well-moisturized skin should not feel taut. Most moisturizers have added vitamins that are good for our skin. These vitamins help in repairing damaged skin cells and promote cell growth. Vitamins such as vitamin E is rich in antioxidants that help protect the skin from toxins and free radicals. It also encourages production of collagen for firmer skin.
Sunscreen is another must-have item for those who want youthful looking skin. Available in forms of lotion, cream and spray, sunscreen should be used every day, even if the weather is not hot. Too much exposure to UVA and UVB will burn your skin and increases the risk of getting skin cancer. Choose a sunscreen with adequate SPF and look for one that offers protection for both UVA and UVB. For outdoor water activities such as swimming, you can choose either waterproof or water resistant sunscreen. Waterproof sunscreen can protect your skin for up to 80 minutes, while water resistant ones can only do so up to 40 minutes. Do not forget to reapply your sunscreen generously and frequently, in order to get maximum protection from the harmful rays.
These are the three main items you should have in your serious skin care bag. There are many other skin care products available in the market today, but these should be sufficient for you to start taking care of your skin.

I use a Tea Tree Oil lotion and even though it's not oil-free it helps control any of my blemishes, so hopefully that stuff you got is working for you. This is kind of my face wash routine and no, I don't have perfect, glowing skin–I think that's a little far fetched for a lot of teenagers.
Here are my suggestions:
–I have Clean and Care morning burst and I think of that as an exfoliatian and you're only supposed to apply it 1-3 times a weeek (I'm pretty sure we have the same thing…not sure though.) So, I would use your Aveeno face wash instead if that's gentler. I would use a cream/gentle face wash, because sometimes the exfoliations makes my face red. And when you do exfoliate, use it in the PLACE of your regular face wash.
–I would continue using your Tea Tree stuff.
–Continue using your moisturizer.
–I would more worry about using a face wash at night instead of in the morning. If you can do both, then switch off. I have two face washes (one from Avon, one Neutrogena) for my morning/nights and it helped when I switched them off.
–I know you don't want to buy any new products, but if you want no blemishes, spot treatments can really help. I like Avon's Spot Treatment with a 0.5% Sacycilic acid treatment.
Overall-Don't exfoliate as much because it can cause redness. Make sure you moisturize before you put make up on. Try to wash your face at night and the morning, switching off the cleansers. If you can, buy Spot Treatment for any existing blemishes.
