How can I go to the beach and get a nice tan without getting sun damage?


I have very fair skin and I can just get out in the sun for a little while and I major blister with sunscreen and with. I am going to the beach this weekend How can I avoid alot of sun damage to my skin?

Protect your skin...be vigilant about putting on sunscreen. You don't want to look like a wrinkled old brown hag when you are 35. If you want a tan get some lotion bronzer or something. Even with sunscreen you will probably get burned.

Is there any way I can protect my hair from sun damage, yet still allow natural sun-highlights to come in?


In the summer my hair gets dry form the sun, but also gets lighter with pretty, natural sun-highlights. Is there any way I can protect my hair from getting damaged yet still allow those highlights?

I love the BioSilk and Frizz Ease Serums for this. It almost feels like olive oil in your hands. Just smooth it on your hair -- mostly on the ends that really show the damage and breakage. It doesn't have an SPF so it allows the nice highlights without drying.
