System Cleansing Gel Itchy, rash like acne (i'm pregnant)?
So I've always been prone to acne, and had been using a three step system to control it (contained salicylic acid and benzol peroxide). Since finding out I'm preg, I stopped the system and have been using a cleanser that used to be my favorite- special cleansing gel by dermalogica (from dermatologist). This is a bottle that I have used out of before, and I used this product many years off and on and never had a problem, so I don't think this is an external issue.
Anyway, now for the problem. It looks like I have a textured rash all over my entire face...some of the little bumps look like they are tiny white-heads, but for the most part, just a rash of tiny textured red dots. It itches like crazy, and my skin is beyond irritated! What could this be?! How could I calm my skin down? Again, i'm using a cleanser I'm familiar with, and am not taking any medications whatsoever- only a folic acid supplement (too nauseous for whole pill at moment). Can anyone help?
have the same thing. for me it got worst and worst as the months went by now i am 39wks and the rash seem to be calming down a little. my mid wife said its all just hormones and not much u can do till after the baby is born and the body gets back on track. all u can do is keep the skin clean and clear of oil, grease and dirt. so dont over kill on the products because its all pregnancy hormones.
