System Microderm Microdermabrasion

Which is better: Neutrogena Skin Rejuvenator sys. or Microderm. system?

If one's goal is to get rid of scars and/or sun spots...which is better?
I'm know what microdermabrasion is but im not sure skin rejuvenator is updated microderm...also, how does each work the system itself look alike...does one vibrate and the other one spin on the skin...thanks

If your goal is to get rid of scars & sun spots,
These products will not help.
However... Microdermabrasion works great
for removing dead skin cells. Leaving the skin
w/a healthy glow & over all, great appearance.

Both products you suggested should come w/a
Bristles that spin. I have seen adds on them (in detail)
& they seem like a good product.

For scars: In the past I had a second degree burn,
I used a simple, less costly method that rid me, of
my scar. It was a high concentrate of Vitamin E oil.
You will not see your scar disappear right away....
You have to apply the vitamin E on a daily basis.

For sun spots. Wal-mart has a safe, bleaching product
that works great for virtually, anything.
I forgot the name of it...but here is a description on it.

Its made in Mexico & the box has a sea shell on it.
Its made out of sea shells & other natural elements.
The product clearly says on the box, that it is
a bleaching system.

Either way, all the above mentioned, should work for
you.

MICRODERMABRASION: worth it???

I'm considering Microderm for fine lines and wrinkles. Anyone have micro done for wrinkles and is it worth it to have it done. I would get it done at a local spa. I have tried at home systems but I don't see much of a difference.
She recommended 1 micro treatment each month for 6 months then for maintance 3/4 per year. I'm 42 years old with pretty good skin just a few fine lines. thanks

Microdermabrasion when done in a series as recommended can give your skin a smoother appearance.

What happens is they use a machine and shoot tiny crystals to your skin (in a sandblasting effect) and then the vacuum up the tiny crystals. It doesn't hurt, but if not done by someone properly trained, can leave you too red, or unsatisfied with the results. Make sure it's someone who does it regularly.

The products you're using at home don't have the same effect and are basically more of a "scrub".

I've both given microdermabrasion treatments and received them.

If you want a deeper effect, you need to go to a dermatologist for a medium to deep level peel.
