Pregnancy Back Acne?


I have never really had this problem before, but since I got pregnant I have back acne! I hate it! Is it from the summer time & sweating or the hormones? I thought even my hair was causing it, and thought about cutting my hair shorter.
I dont want to hear Ewwwy! Thats just rude. Its not like my entire back is covered. It is just the top part of my back under my hair.

It's hormones and it is entirely NOT FUN. I wouldn't worry about cutting your hair... I have shoulder length hair and the back acne is still bugging me. I started getting it when I was about 10 weeks or so, and have tried so many things to get rid of it. The best thing I've found is to put witch hazel on a cotton ball and gently wipe it over your back. My husband helps me where I can't quite reach. It hasn't totally cleared it up, but it looks better at least.

Its really just like being a teenager again...raging hormones and acne. Gotta love it!

(Oh, and try your best to ignore those who feel the need to make fun! Most people are genuinely nice and could care less about a bit of acne.)

Does the HCG pregnancy hormone cause acne?


I am due to test to see if I have conceived in a few days and have come out in loads of spots. Is this one of the early symptoms of pregnancy or is it just coincidence? Thanks in advance. x

i found out i was pregnant last week and yes I noticed my acne was worse than usual, more than the usual 1-2 pimples i get before my period... more like several blotches lol
