Acne Scar Redness Peel?
im looking to do a tca peel cause i have some acne scar redness and was wondering if it will work or are there any creams instead of going throuigh a peel
i have never done the peel but i say someone befor they did and after and she looked worse l felt bad they said that the rednes would go away but she looks the same to me... most lotions that i have tryed dont work but im using the( Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Gel ) you just put it on at night werever you have the scars and redness and you will start to notice a difference in a few days or so just make sure you wear sunblock in the morning..

How long for skin to recover from a 20% TCA peel? (10 pts.?)?
I am going to get a 20% TCA peel for my 18th birthday to help fix the hyper pigmentation and very shallow acne scars on my face. I picked at my acne a lot this past year and I think a peel will help repair some of the damage I've done (I've stopped picking now and will never pick again!). My skin is not too bad, not good but not bad enough to wear a bag over my head.
So my question is:
How many weeks will it take after the peel for my skin to return to "normal", by which I mean no raw skin? And when should I start moisturizing?
PS- I'm going to get it done over winter break, so I'll have about 2-3 weeks off of school to heal with no makeup on.

A TCA peel is a controlled chemical burn, so you have to care for your skin as if it has been burned. It will take a week or two to recover. This site explains a little about the after care for this procedure.
