Teenage Anti Acne Diet

Teenage son with acne?


He is fourteen and has only had a skin problem for the last six months or so. I tried to nip in the bud fairly quickly by having anti biotics prescribed for him. He started off with a very mild dose but didn't work, he is now on the next strongest kind, with not much improvement. Has anyone had positive results from anti biotics for their skin? I know that acne is a hormonal problem, and I am considering taking him off the anti bios and concentrating on diet instead. My main concern is scarring. He is a very good looking boy, and I have noticed his confidence lacking since his skin went bad. Help?
