What Should I Do To Get Rid Of Acne?

Hi...I'm 15...I've struggling with acne latley and it is pretty bad. I know it is a part of puberty and whatever but I really want my face to feel and look better. I started using pro-activ but after awhile my skin started to get really dry and it looked like my skin was peeling(but it wasn't). SO I stopped using it and pro activ is a no-no. and i have some questions regarding my acne.

What Fruits/Veggies are good for acne?(gimme specific names please)

How much water should I drink In a day?

What moisturizer or other skin products do you recommend?

What foods should i stay away from?(besides chips and pop)(be specific)

I have some multi vitamins but should i take one,two, or three a day and when should i take the multi vitamins?

and if there is any other info you would like to share on getting rid of acne please include it in your answer... Thanks...

The foods you eat have no effect on your acne.

I would recommend you go to a dermatologist and have them prescribe something. If you don't get rid of it, you'll have acne scars when you're older, and that's not fun.

I had an early onset of acne, I got it in 3rd grade, and I tryed different creams and soaps for years. Then, when I was in 7th grade my mom dragged me to the dermatologist and he prescribed me a pill to take and a special soap and cream. It helped, but didn't totally get rid of it.

Then a started having really bad cramps, so I went on a birth control pill. The pill not only got rid of my bad periods, but it also got rid of the rest of my acne and made my face A LOT clearer. Now I only have a couple small zits a week, and they're easy to cover up with concealer. So I would recommend going to a doctor and having them prescribe you a birth control pill that specializes in fixing acne. Plus, not only does it fix your acne, it makes your periods a lottt easier. :]

If none of that works, try a pill called Accutane prescribed by your doctor. Only go on this pill if nothing else works, because it can have some annoying side effects, like chapped lips. But believe me, it's totally worth it. My older brother used to have bad acne and he went on it, and now his skin is absolutely PERFECT. He never gets zits and he doesn't even wash his face or anything. The only side effect he had was chapped lips, and his were only really chapped because he never wore chapstick.
