Toothpaste Acne Remedies
remedies for gettin rid of acne and acne scars blackheads&&would this brand of toothpaste be ok for pimple?
i never tried usin toothpaste as a remedy,, but nw i want to but all the toothpaste i hav is arm and hammer peroxi-care. mint flavor [[smells like the actual leaf]] it says on the cover, includes baking soda and peroxide. should i use it,,bakin soda and peroxide is good for acne i heard before,, and it kinda look like thick gooey substance, like in between white toothpaste and gel ones.
also any other remedies for acne scars, acne, softer skin, and blackheads
I have tried a lot of combinations to get rid of my acne and I finally came up with a combination that has actually made my horrible acne go away. I use the Neutrogena Rapid Clear, CVS brand black and pore cleanser and Stridex Intensive Acne Repair. It has gel in the lid and pads in the main part. When I am short on time I can skip the first two steps and use the pads and the gel. It actually doesn't dry my skin out as much as I thought it would. I tried Pro-Active, I have pretty much tried EVERYTHING! but this combination really works. The only thing that worked out of the Pro-Active was the face moisturizer and again it is the only thing I found that didn't make my face break out. So maybe if you try my combinations it might work for you.

How to Fight Acne and Win!
Effective acne treatment?? (no toothpaste thing)?
Can everyone help me with my acne... give me treatments, remedies, any possible things that can clear my acne.
(no toothpaste please)
First try not to put treatments on your acne that you are not sure with. It can worsen your pimples/acne. Consult first your dermatologist and ask what he/she can recommend you.
Acne Treatments have different effects., some work for them some aren’t.

The secret is "water".
When you opened the pores with warm water and then used soap, you washed away the oils that came to the surface.
The underlying problem is you're dehydrated. Consider this: when you mix water with oil, the oil rises to the surface. This happens in skin, too (it's why the oil came to the surface when you applied the warm water – the warm water opened the pores and the oil floated to the top).
People just don't drink enough water. Between the 1.5 liters lost through kidney filtration (urination) and the liter lost through respiration a lot of water needs to be replaced on a daily basis. Soft drinks, coffee, tea and other "non-water" drinks do not supply the necessary water, although people think that they do – they contain caffeine, which is a major contributor to dehydration, and only make the problem worse.
You should be drinking 1/2 your weight in ounces of water each day, adding 1/8 teaspoon of unprocessed sea salt per 16 ounces. The salt is important for cell function and it retains the water in the body. You may also need potassium and other supplements since drinking increased amounts of water may wash some of these nutrients out of your system.
