Adult Acne washes and treatments?
I'm going on 21 in a few months and ever since I turned 20 my acne has been REALLY bad.. I need to know what I can buy at a regular store that isn't over the top expensive and actually works.. I'm talking face washes and treatments. Thanks.
First make sure you aren't putting anything else on there, or if you started using a new hair product (some sort of leave-in conditioner or serum). No lotions, etc.
Anyway, I use neutrogena, it is the "transparent facial bar" and it doesn't have the salicylic acid in it (so you use that with whatever medication you use, and then keep using that. it is gentle on your skin because there is no actual medicine in it)
i have a benzoyl peroxide prescrpiton from the doctor (and if the acne is red and inflammed it is infected and could be treated with antibiotics if you and your doctor choose)
try using things like clearasil (Benzoyl peroxide) and also use something with salicylic acid (the other big acne medication ingredient). Use them both, maybe at different times of the day, but start out with a little because it will dry your skin and you have to get used to it. Also remember that the acne will get worse the first 2 weeks or so (that is normal, then it starts to get better. Dont stop because it gets w orse the first 2 weeks). and if it is really bad you can go to the doctor

Top Acne Care Product Skin
I need an inexpensive acne treatment for sensitive skin?
I get acne all over my forehead, part of my chin, and some times on the cheeks.
No blackheads ever.
It's a little oily, but whenever I wash it or put any acne treatment stuff over top of it it gets really dried out and sometimes burns a bit.
Please suggest an inexpensive routine/treatment that I could get at a pharmacy or the mall.
I've tried proactive and it hurt my face beyond repair for a while. It was much too strong.
My parents and I are really struggling financialy right now, so I can't afford to go to a dermatologist (and our insurance doesn't cover it).
Please suggest something really cheap. The top amount of money that I am willing to pay is about $20.

Those locations you have for acne are very typical for the new acne sufferer. You're lucky your skin is oily, and not too dry, however there are a lot of acne treatments that over dry the skin, so you should probably avoid many of them.
Since Proactiv dried you out, I suggest you get a different face wash. First of all, don't use Proactiv anymore. From experience, you should go with Aqua Glycolic, since it is effective and it doesn't dry out the skin, even when you overuse it.
You're wasting time by going to the Dermatologist. I've wasted $5,000 with them, and not a single antibiotic nor Accutane worked. They're money sucking doctors. What worked for me was a simple cheap acne treatment that was specifically made for my skin.
To the person recommending the e-book "Acne Free in 3 Days", stop recommending scams.
