Topical Acne Products
Are there all natural acne products?
I'm looking to cure my acne, but I dont want any products with chemicals or fillers or any of that stuff. Does anyone know of, or can recommend me any products? I use a cleanser, but I dont think I'm going to use my prescribed topical anymore since i dont have insurance. I figured, lets try something not prescribed, and natural!
Most acne products that claim to be natural still contain lots of chemicals and acids. One product I know that has only natural ingredients for sure is Blemfree. It consists of a combination of mineral salts. You can learn more about it at www.egandjc.com.

Effective Acne Products - What Really Gets Rid Of Acne?
If you've had an acne problem for any length of time you're probably looking for effective acne products to help you achieve control and get rid of your acne once and for all, right? What follows is a brief synopsis of what's available in the marketplace today to assist you with your persistent acne problem.
There are essentially three different approaches you can take to treat your acne. First, you can attempt using a common over-the-counter topical ointment - a very typical approach. You may also try obtaining a prescription for an oral or topical creme or medication. Lastly, there is the all-natural or 'holistic' method of getting rid of acne - an approach many decide on due to the absence of side effects and the natural nature of the approach itself. No matter which way you choose to go, there are effective acne products available with each approach.
1) Effective Acne Products - Over-the-Counter Options
Many of the over-the-counter acne treatments are products that you hear about often on tv and radio. Normally these are benzoyl peroxide-based topical ointments that treat the acne subsequent to a breakout. These products tend to work good in the short-term, however many people have problems not only with dryness and skin irritation but also with heightened tolerance to the product, which leads to more product usage - a very vicious cycle.
2) Effective Acne Products - Pharmaceutical Options
If you choose to visit a dermatologist for treatment of your acne, you will probably be given a prescription for one of a number of popular oral (pill-based) or topical ointments such as Erythromycin, Tetracycline, or a Tetracycline derivative like doxycycline and minocycline. While these options can be useful to some degree, as with any prescription you may encounter side-effects - some of which can be very uncomfortable (painful dryness/redness/sensitivity to various ointments).
3) Effective Acne Products - Natural Options
Taking the natural path has become more and more popular lately due to the absence of side effects, the natural nature of the approach, and the beneficial results it produces. Many patients have ultimately claimed victory in their battle to get rid of acne for good by adhering to a structured natural approach which consists of tweaks to their diet and lifestyle in association with natural products like tea tree oil and all-natural ointments.
Regardless of what you decide, you must weigh your options with each of these acne treatment methods and make the wisest choice that is perfect for you.
